MAC HAUTE DOG & TOAST meets world

Who else is ready to toast to this last long upcoming weekend of summer? Speaking of toast.... I had so much fun last week at an exclusive event hosted by MAC at Northpark Center. Are you familiar with the super insta famous Toast?

Toast is a king charles puppy mill rescue pup whose signature tongue is a pop culture phenomenon. The social media pup giant has been featured in campaigns for NY, Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Karen Walker Sunglasses, and now MAC to promote their latest limited edition collection of cosmetics, HAUTE DOG.  

Imagine my excitement, to not only watch their fall campaign come to life in the middle of North Park Center including models that looked as though they walked right out of the magazine, but to also meet Toast and her sister Muppet!

The main attraction to the event for me, was to up my fall lip game.  I've always experimented with dark lips, but usually ended up looking like a haute mess. My talented glam squad, Ericka & Dionna let me know that indeed the deep dark outlined lip of my youth (90's yall) is back in a major way for fall.  2015's version, is shall we say a little more sophisticated, layered, and lacquered.  

The entire collection can have you fall ready in a matter of no time.  Perfect to finish off that perfect cozy outfit ready for fall's first cold snap. Or if your like me and you've waited as long as you can.... NOW.    So here's to toasting the last weekend of summer, and looking forward to all God has for us this fall! The collection is in stores now until October 6th.
